FUNCTIONS:
Functions and main tasks: Research, development, application of information technology tools for the unified and integrated management of resources and environment.
Development support functions:
- To provide scientific and technological consultancy and application services in regional natural resource and environment management;
- International cooperation in research and application of informatics tools (modeling, remote sensing, GIS, database) in environmental resource management;
- Training in short courses on application of informatics tools (modeling, remote sensing, GIS, database) in environmental resource management.
