Department for Air pollution & Climate change



The Department of Air Pollution and Climate Change is one of the specialized sections of the Institute of Environment and Resources established to study issues related to the above issues.


Funtions:

(1) The main objective of DAPAC is to develop practical models capable of simulating major atmospheric boundary layer atmospheric processes, from which research strategies for pollution mitigation and advisory Environmental management in the field of science: research on transportation, industrial and residential emission calculation models, research and calculation of emission factors for human activities (transport , industry, …).
 
(2) DAPAC's second objective is to study issues related to climate change and solutions (technological solutions, socio-economic solutions, ...).
 
(3) Air pollution, climate change and energy are closely linked factors, inseparable.
